Bacardi opens the doors of the company's new headquarters in Italy, Martini & Rossi, in one of the most influential capitals of mixology: Milan

The decision to move the company's Italian headquarters to Milan is significant of the qualitative leap underway in Bacardi's way of operating in Italy and of a strong propensity for business. In fact, the new headquarters hosts the sales, marketing departments and all the key resources for direct contact with customers.

“We want to lead trends, not follow them” – stated Stèphane Cluzet, Martini & Rossi – Bacardi Group Country Manager – “Milan's cultural influence is global. It is home to some of the most iconic brands and many of our best customers. Furthermore, it is the city that offers the best conditions in Italy to develop our team and attract new talent.”

Milan's passion for cocktail culture and its influence in the luxury sector fits perfectly with our vision, and our future focus on premium brands in the portfolio, including:

BACARDÍ rum, GRAY GOOSE vodka, PATRÓN tequila, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE gin, MARTINI vermouth and bubbles, and other emerging brands such as SANTA TERESA rum and ST-GERMAIN, elderflower liqueur.

Pessione, location of the previous headquarters, continues to be an important operational center for Bacardi – the company has invested €30 million in the site over the last four years which employs more than 300 people. Pessione remains the home of the MARTINI manufacturing plant, continuing a tradition spanning over 150 years.

The new space in Milan, which welcomes a team of 35 talents, is located immediately under the historic Terrazza MARTINI. The Terrace, which since its opening in 1958, on the top of the 15 floors of the Velasca Tower overlooking Piazza Duomo, has always been the location of excellence for Italian film stars looking for great cocktails in a refined and fascinating environment.

“We are proud to breathe new life into such a legendary location in Milan, and the energy we get from it every day is incredible.” – stated Stèphane Cluzet – “When we leave the office, we are in the center of one of the most vibrant cities in the world. The value of this closeness with our customers and consumers, the influence they have in our daily choices, as well as in our future plans, cannot be underestimated. We have one of the most beautiful offices in Italy, the perfect place for our people and our partners to work together and create new opportunities. For example, we are happy that Bar Basso, inventor of the Sbagliato cocktail and one of the most important bars in the city, served the best drinks ever during our opening ceremony.”
