It’s Gucci’s first café and cocktail bar in Italy, opened in February 2022 in central Piazza della Signoria, the last addition to Gucci Garden – the multipurpose space opened four years earlier. The interiors are traditional and refined: the boiserie calls back to the late ‘700s, with carved capitals and couches and chairs upholstered in peacock blue leather. Bar manager Martina Bonci guides the cocktail offer: she has designed a drink list including only signatures, balanced in the choice of spirits and flavors to satisfy every palate. The cocktails consider seasonality both for fruits and vegetables and are mixed using homemade ingredients like shrubs, cordials, syrups, infusions, and milk washes. The careful presentation is of fundamental importance, with bright colors calling back to the ones of the brand. People come to the cozy interior spaces – dominated by the bar counter – and the alfresco area from breakfast to after dinner, and especially for happy hour, the most crucial time of the day.
