A few steps away from the Trevi Fountain, the W Hotels Worldwide chain opened its first hotel in Italy in 2021 to offer citizens of the capital and tourists a different interpretation of the luxury hotel industry. Attention to detail and high-level service are a must, but the hotel’s distinguishing points – in addition to design, fashion, and fitness – are music and fun: vital to create W’s “WOW” effect. Bar manager Emanuele Broccatelli brings his mixing philosophy to W Lounge, using homemade liqueurs (with low sugar content) as the Italian tradition requires. Flowers, leaves, fruit, and roots star in the glasses, too, completing signature drinks with a strong identity and never more than four ingredients. A peculiarity of the cocktail proposal are oxidated drinks that stand out for their harmony and depth of flavor. During the day, you can enjoy alcohol-free beverages. In Otto Rooftop and Giardino Clandestino, the hotel’s other two spaces, cocktails are paired with cured ham and pizza or Italian Aperitivo style.
