[:it]Mix Contest I – The Final[:]

[:en]After the five events that brought some of the best Cocktail Bars in Italy to Turin, Mix Contest has finally reached the final act of its first edition: the Grand Final on Monday 22 January 2018. The winners of the five evenings , coming respectively from Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence and Rome, will compete to win the victory. As always, the cocktails will be accompanied by the gastronomic proposals of the Eataly chefs. The evening is included in the schedule of the official celebrations for Eataly's eleventh birthday, which will culminate on Saturday 27 January, with a Great Farmer's Festival.

An event born about a year ago from an idea by Laura Carello, Mix Contest is a competition open to professional bartenders during which, representing their own Cocktail Bar, each challenger creates two signature cocktails which are submitted to the public's vote. The first edition featured five evenings, each dedicated to a different city. At the end of each event the public elected two winners from the participating cocktail bars, thus creating a team of ten finalists who are now ready to compete in the final on Monday 22 January 2018.

Each Cocktail Bar will offer two cocktails of the "pre-dinner" and "after-dinner" type respectively, original recipes that will be created on the spot and offered to the public who will be able to vote for their favorite at the end of the evening.

This time, the vote of a technical jury made up of industry professionals will be added to the popular vote. Sitting at the judges' bench will be Paolo Vizzari, journalist and co-author of the guide “I Ristoranti d'Italia dell'Espresso”, Walter Gosso, internationally renowned bartender, Danilo Bellucci, patron of Lady Drink and Challenge on Ice, Marco Galasso, bartender . Together they will judge the competitors' work according to professional guidelines and their votes, added to those of the public, will decide the final winner.[:]
