It's in Naples' affluent Chiaia neighborhood, frequented by locals and tourists alike, that Giovanni Fenderico and Stefano Auletta have chosen to make their dream come true. The name of the establishment is inspired by Tom Cruise's character in the film Cocktail, in which he plays Brian Flanagan. The classic atmosphere, featuring an imposing bar and Chesterfield sofas, is the perfect setting to appreciate the mixology offerings created by bar manager Mirko Sebillo, assistant bartenders Giuseppe Ciccarelli and Alessio Danchise, and bartenders Andrea Giacometti, Alessia Fuschetti, and Lorenzo Di Guglielmo, always with the support of Giovanni. The focus is on twisted classics, like the Old Fashioned made with a blend of bitters, and signature drinks, including seasonal ones, where the goal is to minimize waste by using the raw ingredients in their entirety. How? For example, by fermenting the watermelon pulp and processing the rind to make the garnish. The most commonly used spirits are tequila and mezcal, but great importance is also given to low-alcohol and non-alcoholic spirits, made with well-known international dealcoholized bases.
