Unique 360°
A bartender, a table, and a room for a project unique in every way. In 2020, in Milan's Lambrate district, Milo Occhipinti gave birth to a dream: a place where he could express his personal vision of hospitality, where people are the heart of the place and have the opportunity, once seated, to expand their knowledge. While the design, harking back to the 1990s-early 2000s (Y2K) decade, from which it borrows elements of Japanese and American culture, stands out, even in the drinks list selections there are no limitations: the ingredients come from Japan, as well as the United States, China, Mexico, and America. From the (hidden) bottle rack and the bar, Milo draws international spirits, which he blends into unconventional seasonal signatures—in the summer he offered a Solero-flavored drink, in the winter a fireplace-flavored one—and into bestsellers that vaguely recall classic structures. Mixology is experimental in the presentation of the cocktails—some are neon, so to speak—but not in the preparation, to maintain a comprehensible result. The menu always features only one non-alcoholic drink: Gin and Tonic.
