Like in V for Vendetta

A den of art thieves. Nicola Ruggiero's second venue, after Katiuscia, opened in March 2023 in the historic center of Modugno. The idea was to create a haven where customers are served not by waiters, but by Lupin and Diabolik. While the name La Congrega is a clear reference to the brand's intent, its coffee, drinks, and spirits are served from early morning until late at night in a stone setting reminiscent of bourgeois living rooms and divided into three areas: coworking, a Bacchus corner dedicated to wines, and a final space dedicated to the cocktail bar. The drinks list by bar manager Nicola Ruggiero, supported here by bartender Stefano Petruzzelli, is themed and inspired by the world of art, reflected in the many paintings on the walls, the statues, and the many works in the venue's bunker, waiting to be discovered. The recipes are the result of a highly elaborate mixology, combining refined and homemade ingredients. The highlight of the menu is the aperitivo, where you can create your own cocktail—from Negronis to Americanos—with over 150 different bitters, vermouths, and liqueurs. A small outdoor seating area is also available.
