This cocktail bar with a dedicated entrance is located in the 5-star Hotel VIU Milan, not far from Porta Garibaldi. In the refined yet convivial atmosphere, where guests can sit at high tables, sofas, and stools, drinks are served by bar manager Alberto Baù and bartenders Erik Calati and Filippo Ardissonno. Since its arrival, the cocktail bar has increasingly developed a separate identity from chef Giancarlo Morelli's restaurant, with which it shares the space. There's a strong focus on classics, which often inspire the signature drinks menu, which periodically changes theme and flavor. Each recipe uses a limited number of ingredients, many of which are homemade, sometimes borrowing from the kitchen. The menu offers low-alcohol cocktails, and one evening a month, even pairings with dishes, in an experience featuring the bar manager and a guest bartender. The drinks list is rounded out with a selection of cocktails featuring the chef's signature gin and a few twists on classics. Cocktails can also be tasted in the restaurant.
