Description
In an alleyway overlooking the Naviglio Grande in Milan, Rita's partners Edoardo Nono and Gianluca Chiaruttini decided to open their second home in 2019, together with Chiara Buzzi. The chosen theme is the world of tiki, interpreted here both in the themed furnishings, which recall the atmosphere of the first American tiki bars, and in the cocktails created by bar manager Andrea Arcani and head bartender Alessandro D'Alessio. The menu offers a selection of daiquiris, punches, Rita's Tiki Best, and a selection of seasonal specialties. The starting point is always a historic or contemporary tiki classic, rediscovered with a modern twist while respecting its identity and structure. While this branch of mixology remains innovative today, the purpose of this venue is also, in a certain sense, cultural. Homemade ingredients, such as the rum blend, orgeat, or grenadine, therefore take center stage in the recipes.
