In 2023, it celebrated its twelfth birthday. This bohemian-style cocktail bar, opened by Flavio Angiolillo and Marco Russo on the Navigli canals, has written the most recent chapters in Milanese mixology and beyond, and is poised to continue along this path in the coming years. Its strengths remain the same: excellent work behind the bar, led by bar manager Emanuele Cosi, head bartender Federico Altamura, and preparation manager Jacopo Sussi; the presence of bartenders in the dining room to better understand the clientele's needs—Carmen Damiani, Paolo Costa, Gianluigi Curameng, Alessandra Fortunato, Michele Bramato—and a remarkable ability to communicate, as demonstrated by the original menus, some of which were created with the help of illustrators. Today, at Mag, signature drinks are prepared with homemade spirits, such as thyme liqueur, olive oil distillate, and even church spirits; international products; and a strong presence of homemade spirits, now focused on clarifying the drinks.
