The ménagère

Restaurant, bistro, emporium, flower shop, and cocktail bar. These are the four souls of a Florentine establishment that has been open for over a century, and which in recent years—thanks to the striking beauty of its rooms and furnishings—has become a trend thanks to social media. The menu, developed by bar manager Denis Paonessa, head bartender Italo Domenico Mercurio, and junior bartenders Morris Coppola and Tommaso Schimenti, caters to both the tourist crowd, without compromising on the quality of the ingredients, and the clientele avid for fine drinking. To achieve this dual objective, there are two drink lists: a daily one, featuring only classics and their reinterpretations—like a Gin Fizz with Limoncello—and an evening one, starting at 6 p.m., which also includes highly elaborate signature dishes. The common theme of these latter drinks is to offer gastronomically renowned flavors that no one would expect to find in a glass. Examples include tiramisu and coconut cheesecake. Drinks can be enjoyed both upstairs, in the bistro and restaurant, and in the cigar room downstairs.
