Il nome francese dell’insegna è un omaggio al negozio di casalinghi e complementi d’arredi aperto nel 1896. Dal 2015 a oggi, però, l’elegantissimo locale situato nel centro fiorentino si è costruito un’identità propria - fatta di cocktail bar, bistrot, emporio e spazio dedicato all’acquisto di fiori - rinnovata con i lavori di restyling conclusi a fine 2021. Nello stesso periodo, è iniziata l’avventura del beverage director Luca Cinalli, il quale coordina sia la proposta del cocktail bar, ora al piano seminterrato, che quella del bistrot, al piano terra. Nel cocktail bar la miscelazione esalta prodotti di eccellenza con tecniche esclusive, i drink sono esclusivamente signature e il menù equilibrato nella scelta dei distillati è stato pensato perché i cocktail possano essere abbinati ai sigari, vista la presenza di una cigar room. Al bistrot, dalle 18 in poi si serve una drink list contemporanea e meno sperimentale, volta a incontrare le esigenze di chi è in cerca di un ottimo aperitivo in centro. I gusti sono delicati e, a farla da padrona, sono i twist on classic “all’italiana”. L’ultima idea? La possibilità di mangiare piatti in abbinamento a cocktail a base vino.

The French name of the bar is a tribute to the household items and furniture store that opened in 1896. From 2015 on, however, this exquisite bar in the center of Florence has built its own identity – a cocktail bar, bistro, store, and flower shop – and renewed it with the restyling work that ended in 2021. The same period saw the beginning of beverage director Luca Cinelli’s adventure: he coordinates the cocktail offering on the lower level and the ground floor housing the bistro. In the bar, cocktail mixing highlights quality products with exclusive techniques, the drinks are signatures only, and the menu – very well balanced in the choice of spirits – was designed to pair cocktails with cigars due to the presence of a cigar room. From 6 PM, the bistro serves a contemporary, less experimental drink list, meeting the needs of those looking for an excellent aperitivo in the city center. The flavors are delicate, and “Italian-style” twists on classics take center stage. The latest idea? The option to pair dishes with wine-based cocktails.
