In 2021, Pompeii saw the opening of HABITA79 – MGallery Collection, a hotel with a sophisticated, contemporary design surrounded by beautiful gardens. Its name pays homage to the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD and to the number of rooms available. From May to October, the top floor of the hotel features an exclusive rooftop overlooking Vesuvius and the archaeological site of Pompeii. Here, a team of bartenders led by bar manager Ferdinando Longobardi serves sophisticated mixology that enhances tradition with a contemporary twist, showcasing homemade local ingredients from the Vesuvius area, paired with select ingredients from around the world. Inside the hotel, guests can complete their cocktail experience at Il Circolo, a modern social club with a 1950s feel and a lush garden. The drinks list, curated by the bar manager along with Giovanni Langella and Gianluca Morati, focuses on well-known classics, revisited with a fresh and creative twist. For customers who prefer, there is the option of ordering a tailor-made cocktail.
