The Liguria you don't expect
In the early 1980s, in Bogliasco, the first town east of Genoa, a bar opened offering wine, spirits, and cuisine. Today, forty years later, its identity hasn't changed, but with the arrival of new ownership five years ago, it has been significantly rejuvenated. This begins with the menu, which now also includes cocktails and tapas, and the minimalist furnishings, featuring a recurring theme of Yves Klein Blue, an ultramarine hue found on the chairs, walls, tables, and bottle rack, both on the two floors inside and on the outdoor seating and summer terrace overlooking the sea. Since September 2022, the drinks list has been the work of bar manager Margherita Olivieri, who offers seasonal signatures, non-alcoholic beverages, and twists on classics, crafted with spirits from around the world and ingredients with a strong flavor profile, sometimes even local. The raw materials used—from distillates to fruit—are always highlighted: when processed, they are the protagonists of homemade creations, such as infusions or syrups. Furthermore, the recipes are always a blend of just a few ingredients, where everyone's contribution is recognizable. Customers—both longtime and new—return for the hospitality.
