Since 2015 in Mirano and since 2019 in Santa Maria di Sala, also in the province of Venice. Diego Cesarato's house is a total celebration of a spirit, gin, and its quintessential cocktail, the Gin and Tonic. In a large, old farmhouse, furnished with many memorabilia collected by the owner from around the world, and in a beautiful summer garden, Diego's passion, born over ten years ago, takes shape. Over 1,100 international gins are offered here to customers, allowing them to create their own favorite Gin and Tonic, a drink that paradoxically isn't listed on the menu, except in a legend that distinguishes spicy, citrus, dry, floral, or fruity products. While the choice of spirit is often the result of a discussion with the bartenders, the tonic served with it is always neutral, precisely to enhance the gin. Similarly, a tall Collins glass is recommended, along with high-quality ice (important to avoid diluting the drink) and a minimal garnish: a lemon or white grapefruit peel. Gin and Tonic also plays a key role when paired with the cuisine. The menu also offers classics and drinks with other alcoholic bases.
