In the ancient Loggia dei Grani

In the birthplace of painter Giorgione, Castelfranco Veneto, where the Loggia dei Grani once stood, where grain was stored, priced, and sold at the market, today there is a sign open from early morning until late at night. In a space with high ceilings, large windows, lush vegetation, and a perfect balance between the ancient and the modern, Simone Baggio's vision, which came to life in September 2023, is to offer the best at all hours of the day, from breakfast to aperitifs and after-dinner drinks. His signature cocktails showcase wine, both traditional and fortified—such as vermouth, Marsala, port, or sherry—in personal creations, using homemade spirits, and classic mixology. While one section of the menu focuses on fresh, seasonal produce, another focuses on amphora aging, which allows gin, seawater, or a Negroni to acquire a slightly oxidized, almost spicy note, unique to a cocktail. The menu also offers a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, made with homemade syrups and extracts.
