In the historic center of Syracuse's island gem, Ortigia, lies a venue focused on agave-based spirits. Owners Giulio Messina and Simone Di Stefano are joined by head bartender Fabio Iemmulo and bartenders Mauro Lannunziata and Chiara Randazzo. Two annual drink lists feature drinks made primarily with mezcal—there are over 50 varieties—tequila, raicilla, sotol, and bacanora. While the South American classics Paloma and Margarita are a hit, as is inevitable, the same can be said of the signature drinks crafted with a specific ingredient or theme with each menu change. The space was renovated in February 2023, and now the petrol-green rooms feature a marble bar and a bottle rack dedicated to premium spirits, with a special focus on the most well-known South American spirits.
