Still inside a historic building, but in a much larger (200 square meters, not including the outdoor seating) and colorful space, located near the ancient market. This is the choice made by Giuseppe Aloschi, the owner of this cocktail bar in Ortigia, the oldest part of Syracuse. Behind the bar, seasoned bar manager Andrea Franzò and bartender Andrea Germiglio offer signature cocktails of extreme finesse, crafted with unconventional homemade ingredients and accompanied by minimalist yet elegant garnishes. The local spirit is strongly present, as in the use of local citrus fruits like Syracuse mandarin and bergamot, but even more so in the influence of influence, which sees the bar manager revisit classic mixology with a highly personal interpretation. Mezcal and tequila dominate the drinks list, while the bottle list boasts over 500 different beverages. In the new space there is also space for a bottle rack with only spirits, for an open cellar, in which super premium spirits are displayed, and to try the pairing of drinks and dishes, by Davide Cucuzza, former sous chef of the 1 Michelin Star Accursio restaurant in Modica.
