In the center of Lucca, bar manager Marco Macelloni and partner Tommaso Blandi have opened a cocktail bar that will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2024. The name, as well as the elegant furnishings, is a tribute to Prohibition. The menu, created not only by Tommaso but also by bartenders Ginevra Iacoponi, Dimitri Lencioni, Marco Fanelli, and Mirco Puccini, features no more than four ingredients per recipe, crafted in all their nuances using sophisticated homemade ingredients, such as date syrup. In addition to the signature drinks, the drinks list, also available for sampling at the bar, features the bar's classics and, upon request, international mixology icons. While there's no particular focus on any one spirit—though all are equally important—special attention is paid to non-alcoholic beverages, sometimes revisited classics, such as gin and tonic, and low-alcohol drinks, the bar's most popular drinks.
