Giuseppe Iovine's cocktail bar is located in Marcianise, a town near Caserta, home to a strong boxing tradition. While the signature drinks of bar manager Michele Cicchella, supported here by head bartender Simmaco Tartaglione, remain a concentrate of freshness, the innovation lies in the collaboration with local farms, which supply organic fruit for the creation of syrups and infusions, and with a local micro-distillery, which produces a Campanian rum, made with sugar cane grown in Caserta, and fruit brandies, including one made with Pellecchiella apricots from Vesuvius. The drinks list remains focused on gin, with over 100 labels, but there's also room for "forgotten" classics, like Naked and Famous, and, upon request, international mixology icons.
