Today, from 3pm to 6pm, "Roma 4 Roma" kicks off, the weekly event for all Roman bartending called together to meet up, support each other and give a signal of trust in this particular moment of difficulty.

For one day a week, every Thursday, from 3pm to 6pm, the counter at The Court will host a bartender from the list, which although numerically cannot contain everyone, however intends to be symbolically representative of the Roman bars, now in great difficulty", underlines the barmanager . The initiative is supported by a series of companies who have enthusiastically welcomed the idea and who will honor the guest with some gifts during the evenings. Small but significant gestures for a sector in severe crisis.
Where:
The venue for the event is The Court, the cocktail bar of Palazzo Manfredi, the 5-star luxury hotel in via Labicana 125. The idea, developed by barmanager Matteo Zed, is a response to the limited closure of bars due to Covid . “The rules established by our decision-makers, in addition to limiting bar hours, have forced, in some cases, the closure of some of them,” says Zed. “I imagined how many customers will have felt orphaned by their favorite bar. I thought, then, of bringing together some bars here at The Court.

Thanks to the sponsors, the Roma 4 Roma cocktails will have a controlled price, between 8 and 10 euros, with the aperitif offered by The Court. The calendar will start today, with The Chapter bar manager Mario Farulla. “Matteo and I have been friends for some time and I am happy that he chose me to inaugurate this programme. I believe that the initiative represents an important signal to communicate that we have never been so united as we are at this moment and that we have a great desire to start again".
What:
For the occasion, each bartender will prepare a limited selection of drinks. Farulla, who as mentioned will inaugurate the program, will prepare 4 cocktails for customers who reach The Court: Tommy's Manhattan, with Rye whiskey, Dark Rum, Red Vermouth, Agave, Lime, Lunchernoon, with English breakfast tea gin, Tia maria, Dry vermouth and Campari, First reaction shock, with Irish whisky, Pedro jimenez, Soda, and Alabama scammer, with Disaronno, Sloe gin, Mastiha, clarified orange juice and lime juice”.
