One step away from Etna

At the end of 2024, the cocktail bar, located in the Ognina neighborhood of Catania's small harbor, just steps from the sea, celebrates its tenth anniversary. The spacious outdoor terrace, overlooking docked boats and Mount Etna, and the rooms that once sold fashionable clothing—now furnished in an elegant, vintage English pub style with a strong emphasis on paintings, wood, and brassy green—serve signature cocktails and twists on classics that pay homage to seasonality and contemporary mixology. Bar manager Massimo Caruso's elaborate recipes feature prickly pears, pears, and citrus fruits, as well as homemade drinks such as shrubs, sodas, and cordials. Behind the bar, the bartenders also prepare classic cocktails, mocktails, and drinks perfectly tailored to customer needs. Both the constantly updated decor and the drinks by the glass reflect the influences and inspirations the owners and bartenders have gleaned from their travels. The bottle rack, particularly rich in gin, also stands out for its premium selection of rums, whiskies, agave spirits and liqueurs.
