Circus Cocktail Bar

"The noblest art is making others happy," said circus inventor Phineas Taylor Barnum. Giovanni Torre, bar manager, and Fabio Torre, cousin and capital partner, thought the same thing when they opened this cocktail bar in the center of Catania in 2019. The decor deliberately evokes a circus tent, while the atmosphere echoes lightheartedness, the most important ingredient of circus performances. Behind the bar, head bartender Giorgia Panebianco and bartender and restaurant manager Graziano Torre, Giovanni's brother, work with the bar manager to research the island's finest products, from prickly pear slices to bitter oranges, as well as historic island beverages, such as lemon and salt seltzer. Circus Best Sellers, the bar's best-selling cocktails, and No Ordinary Classics, now-forgotten icons of mixology, are also on offer.
