[:it]Era settembre 2016 quando la coppia Claudio Perinelli e Thomas Bianco inaugurava il The Soda Jerk, un cocktail bar che avrebbe fatto parlare di sé nel veronese. Fin da subito, l’idea del locale recentemente rinnovato è stata quella di riprendere i punti cardine di uno speakeasy: dall’atmosfera intima all’illuminazione velata fino a una regola per accedere, un campanello da suonare all’ingresso. Nei signature drink della carta si possono apprezzare in primis gin, bourbon whiskey e vodka. A far da contorno alle basi alcoliche dei cocktail, ci sono preparazioni ricercate fatte in casa.[:en]In 2016, the Claudio Perinelli-Thomas Bianco duo opened The Soda Jerk, a cocktail bar that would soon become the talk of the Verona area. Right away, the idea of the recently renovated bar was to pick up the distinctive points of a speakeasy: an intimate atmosphere, soft lighting, and having to ring a doorbell at the entrance to get in. The drink menu’s signature drinks allow to appreciate gin, bourbon, whiskey, and vodka above all. The refined homemade preparations are the perfect complement to the cocktails’ alcoholic bases.[:]
